Single phase autotransformers for voltage changing

The autotransformers of the PAU, QAU and AUR families are reversible single-phase autotransformers with a robust design, perfect for working continuously supplying industrial, tertiary or residential facilities and machinery.

They have a rating range as from 100VA up to 6300VA depending on the model and, due to their design, an IP20 degree of protection is obtained that prevents direct electrical contact and perfectly protects the windings.

With the autotransformers of the PAU and QAU series, voltage change can be made both from 400V to 230V and from 230V to 400V or other voltages under special manufacture in single-phase installations.

The AUR series autotransformers are designed to solve the problems that arise when connecting appliances for industrial and domestic use at different voltages, as well as in all those applications where it is required to change the voltage from both 220V to 125V and from 125V to 220V in single phase installations.

All the autotransformers of these series are protected against indirect contacts.

The cast resin encapsulation of the QAU series gives them ideal characteristics for the use of this equipment in environments with aggressive atmospheres and environments with vibration.

In addition, in the PAU series they are varnished with anti-flash varnish, by immersion, which ensures greater compaction, insulation and noise elimination. And they have copper connection ferrules welded and attached to a terminal block, to avoid the dangers caused by expansions, which lead to a bad connection.
