POLYLUX’S PIP | PIQ | PIPZ SERIES

Single phase transformers designed to feed pool spotlights.

These series are made up of single-phase isolating transformers with a 12V output voltage that have a rating range as from 100VA up to 600VA. They are provided with a copper shield between primary and secondary, providing total safety for people against electrical risks.

Its main application is the supply of halogen spotlights in swimming pools and gardens and can be used as control transformers in installations with danger of electrical contact for people.

Constructive features:

  • Important note: copper shield between primary and secondary with connection to ground screw that prevents shunt voltage crossovers to the secondary circuit, thus posing no electrical risks for persons.
  • Connection terminals made of copper, welded and inserted in blocks to prevent hazards caused by expansion that may lead to poor connection.
  • Bridges for the different connections included in the product packaging.
