POLYLUX’S TM | PTM | QTM SERIES

Single phase transformers designed to adapt the voltage for measurement equipment.

The PTM, QTM and TM series are made up of single-phase measuring transformers, whose function is to provide a precise voltage at the output, isolating it from the input. On the one hand, it is possible to reduce the voltage to a lower value and, on the other hand, it is possible to isolate the high voltage circuit from the measurement circuit.

They include a rating range as from 2VA up to 300VA in the PTM and TM series, and as from 2VA up to 150VA in the QTM series.

Some of its utilities:

  • The isolation of circuits, being able to increase or decrease the voltage at the output.
  • To change the neutral regime of the installations, being able to go from a two-phase network to a single-phase network or vice versa (this case implies the generation of the artificial neutral).
  • In installations with a certain level of electrical noise, the use of a transformer helps to improve the quality of the electrical network in its secondary.
  • Installations where safety voltages are required (<50 V).
  • Being able to isolate the most sensitive devices in a control panel.
  • Extract different control voltages in an electrical panel.
