Reactors for harmonics filtering in three phase lines at the output of a converter

The RTOX and FTOX series are made up of reactors for harmonic filtering in three-phase installations at the output converter.

The RTOX series has rating range as from 2.5A up to 630A and the FTOX series has rating range as from 2.5A up to 125A and capacitor filter.

These reactors are used for three-phase installations in which there is a high presence of harmonics, also recommended for lengths greater than 30 m from the drive to the motor in the case of the RTOX series.

The specific applications of these reactor are the following:

  • Attenuation of voltage peaks at the output converter, protecting the dielectric elements of the motor against premature damage caused by this.
  • Reduction of the reflection effect due to the length of the cable between the converter and the motor. This reflection effect amplifies the voltage values in the motor terminals.
